Torre Madariaga

The center of biodiversity of Euskadi - Madariaga Dorretxea is managed by Ihobe, public environmental management Corporation. Ihobe is a public company that, in line with plans and directives of the Basque Government and the criteria of sustainable development, aims to move the action to all agents of the autonomous community of the Basque country.

Laga Beach

The beautiful dunar beach  of Laga, nestled in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve and next to the cape of Ogoño (279 m), belongs to the municipality of Ibarrangelu. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Biscay coast. With its 574 meters of golden sand, the beach is open to the sea. Its waves attract many surfers.

Guggenheim

Meetings House of Gernika

Gernika is located in the heart of the Urdaibai biosphere reserve. Represented as no other population, the history of our people and their traditions. The Casa de Juntas and the tree of Gernika are a must to visit. The current building is the Parliament of Bizkaia, a symbol of basque freedoms. Place where the lehendakari swears to his charge.

Oma Forest

Tucked away in a corner of Oma, in the corner that form the wide depression of the Gernika estuary with the Cantabrian coast, is the painted forest of Oma. At the beginning is a pine of so many.   Casa Museo de Simón Bolivar

  The building of the Museum, after its restoration was inaugurated on 7.24.1983 , on the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Simon Bolivar, basically being destined to house collections of Bolivarian history and ethnography, facet is recently extended and that extends the interest of the Museum.
