The Wind Mill Boina de Vento is located in the parish of S. Mateus in front of ilhéu da Praia on the island of Graciosa and 300 meters from the only sandy beach on the island, located on the east coast. Windmills are a landmark of Graciosa. On the island there are about 20, being four of them located on the beach. The Wind Mill Boina de Vento has been restored and adapted for housing, having been seized part of the threshing-floor where is based, with indoor access to the windmill itself. Thus, in the base (threshing-floor) there is a room with double bed and private bathroom with shower and another bathroom with shower; engine room equipped with washing machine and dryer, a fully equipped kitchen area and dining with large windows overlooking the sea and island. Casa da Japoneira is located near the sea, on the southern coast of Faial Island and its origin goes back to a two floors house with well, built in the 19 th century. The singularity, the architectural and cultural interest of this rural house, justified its inclusion in Horta’s Heritage Inventory. This small Rural Tourism unit is the best way of travelling into the Azorean culture and traditions. During the house’s recovery works there was the concern to maintain the original architectural traces and, at the same time, adapt it to the modern demands of comfort. Therefore were projected double rooms and twins with toilet, reading and living rooms. Air-conditioning, cable TV, telephone and wireless Internet were installed. In the exterior there are balconies with panoramic views to the neighbor island Pico and areas of entertainment in a garden of about 1000 m2, where the camellias are the predominant trees. Casa da Japoneira puts at your service fishing material, as the house is located very near to the Lajinha bathing areas, a privileged place for fishing or sea bathing. There is also the possibility of making walking and biking tours and, with previous booking, tours on the island with official national guide. A traditional old stone farmhouse, reconstructed from the foundation up as an exact replica, now classified as 'Casa de Turismo Rural' by the Portuguese Tourist Board. The house has been restored to its original state as it was built 100 years ago, but whilst maintaining the character of an old Azorean Cottage, Sabugo House has spacious, modern bathrooms and kitchen equipment. The annexe was the barn and has been changed into accommodation. The two buildings are separate from one other, yet only 10 meters away. Ideal to give your children the adventurous feeling of being on their own! The main house consists of a large living room and open kitchen with dining table. The kitchen has a complete antique wood oven, that the farmers still use to bake their corn bread in. The kitchen has all other equipment as well: Microwave/conventional oven, toaster, coffeemaker, mixer, juicer etc. One of the sofas can be pulled out to make a 160 cm large double bed. A small hallway leads to the bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and from the hallway a door leads into the Master bedroom. Sabugo HouseThe annexe has a small hallway, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and one large bedroom with two single beds. Other features: Al-fresco shower area with hot and cold water, complete privacy, constructed from old stones and plants. TV with DVD player. We can lend you DVDs if you would like to watch. Ironing board and iron are provided. Hairdryer. Linen and towels are included in the price as well as electricity, gas and water. The view is to the West, with nice sunsets over the ocean. It is a very protected area and gets quite warm on sunny days. Garden furniture and sunshade provided. A hiking path starts behind the house from where one can walk for hours without encountering anything or anybody. Sabugo House is located just 5 minutes from the riding stables, where about 40 horses are lodged and trained. The possibilities run from lessons for beginners to full day excursions. "Quinta da Abegoaria", is a tourism service in Faial island, Azores, in Pedro Miguel, inaugurated at 10 of August of 2005, where we can find three traditional houses (house of the Uncle António, House of the Chico Gaspar and the Atafona), house of support with sanitary, laundry service, reception and museum with ancient products. In the exterior, with much green space, we have two swimming pools (adult and children open at summer time), tennis court, a place for children, two barbecue grills and two farms with trees. All the houses make use of kitchen, room with TV, oven of firewood, bathrooms and nine rooms with eighteen beds distributed for the three houses. In the protected landscape of vineyards across the canal with great view. With three available entrances, one for the regional road, one at north side and another at south side, bus space near the access entrance, supermarket and snack-bar in five minutes by foot, five minutes to go to Horta by car, we can find a place very pleasant where we can remember our ancestor and traditions, but with all the comfort that if it demands nowadays. |

The unit is located in a predominant agricultural area, that is also balneal since it has several bathing spots , from which we refer , the natural swimming pool of Prainha de Baixo ("Poça Branca"), which is located nearby. Casa da Mó - T2 A two-floor house. On the ground floor there is the living room, Kitchen and Bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with double bed. The perfect place for those who love the rustic environment combined with the comfort of modern living. The house is equipped with: a TV set, a Hi-Fi, a DVD player, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a toaster, a sandwich maker and a coffee machine as well as other appliances which will make your stay more pleasant. We also provide, at your request, a cradle and baby care items. A Casa dos Rodeiros - T1 Also a two floor house. On the ground floor there is the living room and a Kitchenette. On the first floor there is a bathroom and a bedroom with two beds. In Abegoaria you'll find the perfect environment to relax and have a rest from your daily routine! Forget everything and take all the advantage of an unforgettable holiday! Wake up to the sound of the birds, step out to the balcony and feast yourself with the delightful landscape appearing before your eyes. The privacy and simplicity of the house, as well as the quietness, will help you rest and relax.
