Mas Martís

| Serinyà|Pla de l’Estany|Girona | The bed and breakfast Mas Martís, also known as Can Solaric, is an eighteenth century farmhouse, located in the Cellera d’Amont, in the outside of Serinyà, and stuck to Pla de Martís, a large and agricultural plain between Banyoles and Besalú, it is an incredible landscape. Its strategic location lies close to a lot of tourist attractions, because we are in the north of the Pla de l’Estany, next to the Alta Garrotxa, near Girona and the Alt Empordà. We are about a mile from the center of the village (Serinyà), and right at the entrance of the huge Pla de Martís, an ideal space for quiet walks on foot, horseback or bicycle, with the mountain of the Mare de Deu del Mont and Eastern Pyrenees as backdrop. Mas Martís has 5 rooms, all of them with private bath We want that Mas Martís becomes a place to forget the stress, find peace, silence and contemplate nature. This is why we don’t have television in the rooms, only in the living room. For longer stays, towels will be changed every two days, and sheets every three. Mas Martís has several places where you can relax and enjoy nature. The swimming pool, headed with a large palm, and a willow, which offers the right dose of tranquility and serenity; it is a good, comfortable and well prepared place where to enjoy a swim. Around the pool, there are several places where you can enjoy a good read or a little rest under the shade of the porch or under the shelter of the vine. All throughout the garden there are several fruit trees: cherry, plum, fig, walnut, loquat, pomegranate, apple trees, the fruits of which we make our homemade jams. And also find a good variety of mediterranean shrubs, combined with travertine stone, typical of the area. |
