The house has belonged to the Fontanals family since it was built in 1928. Casa Fontanals is located at the heart of the Alt Penedès region. Can Pascol is a farmhouse with green renewable and sustainable energy. You will find a comfortable decorated fireplace of wood and stone blending natural elements with vintage furniture from the 1950s. House and water are heated with biomass, water is well softened and purified, the Spa is solar powered, the House is fully insulated to maintain a good temperature both in summer and in winter and save energy. System equipped with Anti smoke sensor (smoking is prohibited inside the House), emergency light , heating with thermostats in the two floors, low consumption lamps and recycling of wastes. We offer an interior space of 140 m 2. That it consists of two floors and a Spa, and a vast bastion garden with outdoor furniture, deck BBQ overlooking to the vineyards, parking and an area for cleaning machines and drying of clothes, for stays longer than a weekend. Downstairs are the kitchen-living room, which a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, cooker hob, wifi and all the necessary utensils for feel like at home. Can Pascol kitchen are bright, has views to the outside and to the Spa which is designed for a perfect relaxation: surrounded by natural rocks you will find a heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, Scottish Jet, an infrared rays sauna for 3 seater with music, a shower with rain sense, an exercise bike and everything you need to bath and custom slippers and bathrobes. On the ground floor, there is also a sink. Mas Prat is a “masia” ( a Catalan traditional rural house ) which was built in 1857; my grandparents bought it in 1920, they renovated and extended it, and from then on it has been known as Cal Peó, a name, “peó”, that has got its origins in the work a man carried out cleaning and repairing the surrounding roads, and that was my grandfather’s work. Can Canaleta is a humble farm home built in 1856 at 486 meters hight. Keep classic structure of stone catalan farmhouses and , despite having been renovated several times throughout its history, has perfectly preserved its original structure. The main activity was always the vineyards. Today is held for sentimental reasons and much smaller in size when the house lived exclusively of fields work. There were also cows, orchards, olive groves, and ... Can Canaleta which has an area of 30 hectares (300.000m2.) We wanted to respect the original form of the house and the surroundings, which is why our interventions have been limited to conditioning and restore all areas to be able to enjoy better comfort. We have a maximum capacity of 10 people spread over three rooms. This allows us to offer a highly personalized treatment without crowds. Spacious, comfortable, cozy rooms for one, two or three people, bathroom, flat TV 24 "with USB and radio channels and DVD player. Consists of a double bed 1'50x1'90m and single one of 0'90x1'90m, shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer and soap homemade craft. We have a brand new pool (july 2014). It's a seawater one, with no added chemical, and wood covered. Solarium You can enjoy of different areas for sunbathing . Some are communitarian and others are located in most intimate corners. |

Mas Trobat is set in the midst of cultivated fields, with different crops depending on the time of year. In the background, there is a green blanket of forest. The remains of stone sinks, stone window benches in many of the windows, stone walls, joists in the ceilings and large brick vaults give our house the typical appearance of a farmhouse from this period. We have 8 very spacious double rooms, with large windows and spectacular views of El Pla, Les Gavarres or the Pyrenees. Each room is equipped with heating, conditioned air, a double bed with a wrought iron bed-head, bedside tables, a cupboard, a desk, television and WiFi They all have an en suite bathroom with a hydromassage bath. I would particularly like to mention the “Mas Trobat” room, with a beautiful wrought iron bed with a canopy, in which we have also proudly placed my grandfather Joan's old desk. The most spectacular views can be got from the highest room in the house, the old barn. From the windows with their semicircular arch, you can see the mountains of Els Àngels, presided over by the sanctuary. Behind the house, there is a pond surrounded by plants which was used for storing rainwater. |
