Cal Maginet is a splendid old house in the very centre of the charming medieval part of Vilaverd, in the heart of Catalonia. This small village, surrounded by the mountains of Prades and next to the Francoli river, still keeps it's ancient structure: a twisting and narrow lane with plenty of interesting nooks and crannies. This part of the village was built between the XII and XV th century and the house itself is documented from 1605. The coat of arms of the Batlle family, one of the most important of the county, decorate the ceiling of the main rooms. There are 8 comfortable double rooms each decorated in its own style. All the rooms are in the first floor and they are distributed around to two large living rooms. All them have their own bathroom and central heating. Two of the rooms have their own terraces with tables and chairs provided to relax in, and two rooms also have their own sitting room, with fireplace, a little mini-bar and a TV set.

The hostal del Senglar is located in the heart of the Cistercian Route, a route that passes through three monasteries founded by monks and nuns of the Cistercian order: Poblet (Conca de Barberà), Santes Creus (Alt Camp) and Vallbona de les Monges (Urgell). These monasteries include administrative buildings, hospitals, chapels, craftsmen's houses and farms, and they are linked by the Cistercian Route. Hostal del Senglar has three room types: double (twin beds), doble with double bed and family room. All are equipped with heating, telephone and terrace overlooking our gardens and forests of Poblet. We also have rooms for the disabled. Hunter King's restuarant. Seating up to 150 guests. Decorated with a mural of Luciano Navarro called "The Hunter King Juan I hunting wild boar in the forests of Poblet." A fireplace presides over the dining room with a saying of the poet Joan Maragall "Tot és camí, tot és drecera, si ens donem la mà." The big five lights that illuminate the dining room are wrought-iron lamps with horseshoe and trunks of vines. It is ideal for weddings and other celebrations. At the Hostal del Senglar we have rooms with different capacities, large screens, projectors, a Wi-Fi area and everything needed to organize exhibitions, conferences or even business meetings. We can provide custom quotes to the needs of each company. Over the years, the Hostal del Senglar has been enriched and differentiated in its service, cuisine and environment compared to other institutions when organizing family celebrations such as anniversaries, communions, baptisms, birthdays, etc..
