| We are a luso-luxembourgish couple and common passions joined us, hopefully, for life. We are curious about life and the world around us. We both love travel, nature and wild places as they are our vital resources. Since many years we come back to our loving Islands a few times a year. Here we found serenity and a different life. And, here we are, hoping to share with you our “art de vivre”. We speak Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, German, Luxembourgish and we can share with you a bit of our Italian, Swedish and Finnish. Offering plenty of natural light, each Atlantis’ bright room includes an individual themed-décor and parquet floors. Some rooms include sloped ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Bathrooms are shared or private and all include free toiletries and a bathrobe. A breakfast buffet is served daily. There is a variety of restaurants within a 1.5 km radius. Staff can organise activities for guests, from horseback riding to fishing, swimming with dolphins and whale watching. After returning to Atlantis, guests can enjoy a quiet evening in the reading room. Children can have fun in the remaining class room, with ancient desks and chairs, while adults entertain themselves with games, books, and DVDs. The charming village of Furnas is 10 km away. Ponta Delgada’s João Paulo II Airport is a 60-minute drive away from Quinta Atlantis. |

Ribeira Grande |Sao Miguel island Tradicampo provides rural houses in the district of Nordeste. These houses are classified as "country houses," under the standards for Tourism in a Rural Area, and have been renovated using traditional materials. The houses have been renovated using traditional materials and adding a modern feel. Offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, some houses come with an outdoor swimming pool and garden area. All include private verandas with barbecue facilities. On arrival, guests will find a warm welcome with bread, homemade jams, milk, coffee, tea, fruit, butter and cheese, along basic grocery items. Guests can prepare their meals in the fully equipped kitchen facilities. As a guest at Tradicampo, you can enjoy a book while seating in the veranda watching the sunset, or use the free bicycles to explore the surrounding natural area. For colder days, there is a wood stove and free wood available in each house, plus an electric heater. Ponta Delgada International Airport is 55 km away. Lagoa das Furnas is 25 km and Lagoa do Fogo (lagoons) is 40 km away.
