The climate in the Ribeira Sacra is not homogenous, varying in each of the 5 sub-zones that make up this region, even at the level of plot, depending on orientation, the altitude and slope. In general we can say that it is more continental than Atlantic, with long, hot summers and temperate autumns.

Tasting notes:

Red Summum wines: have a cherry ripe, medium-high, clean and shiny coat. It is characterized by aromas of fruit with mineral and vegetal notes. In mouth is soft entry in the mouth, which reminds us of the aromas, with flavor fruits ripe, mineral, with a light acidity, having a finish with light sweet tannins.

Red wines: they present a ripe cherry color, layer medium, clean and bright. It is characterized by aromas of fruit with mineral and vegetal notes. In mouth is soft entry in mouth, which recalls the aromas, with flavor fruits ripe, mineral, with a light acidity, having a finish with light sweet tannins.

Summum white wines: have a yellow color that ranges from the straw to the Green, to gold, clean and bright. It is characterized by aromas of fruit, tropical notes, fresh herb and notes of acidity. In mouth is soft and elegant entry, thin mouth, recalling all its aromas.

Summum Barrel reds wines: have a color ranging from mauve, purple, red cherry ripe and mora. High average intensity. Clean and bright. It is characterized by mainly of fruit, strawberry, cherry, roasted, toasted notes vegetal aromas. In the mouth it has an elegant entry in the mouth, which reminds us of the aromas with ripe fruit-flavored, mineral with a light acidity; wood, toasted, with a powerful and balanced.

Summum barrel white wines: have a strong yellow color, that goes from the greenish Golden, clean and bright with good intensity of color. He is characterized by bone, light notes of toasted, tropical fruits, fresh herb and notes of acidity. In mouth is soft and fine entry in mouth, recalling all its aromas, roasted, toasted with mineral notes, appearing sometimes tobacco leaves; noteworthy plant ripe fruit, good balance, compensating for acidity, sugars, wood and balanced end.
