Hotel Aiguaclara is a colonial style mansion dating from 1866 built by Bonaventura Caner Bataller, an “indiano” who emigrated to Cuba with his brother Pedro in 1833. His initials, B.C.B., can be seen on the stone lintel over the hotel entrance door and on the wrought iron restaurant gate. All of our rooms are fully equipped with TVs (Canal Plus and international channels in English, French, German and Dutch), air conditioning (hot and cold), central heating, a writing desk, free Wi-Fi Internet access, and armchairs for reading and relaxing. Junior Suites' bathroom has a tub-shower and the rest have a luxurious shower. All bathrooms have proper hairdryers (just like the ones you have at home). The two Junior Suites also have CD and DVD players. Our restaurant is located in the garden, under a beautiful glass pergola. We take over from a family who through 3 generations, from the 60’s, has been welcoming clients in this marvellous and exclusive setting of Costa Brava, the Aigua Blava Bay, in the magical village of Begur. In this corner where calm prevails, in Platja de Fornells, stands Hotel Eetu in a building designed by famous architect Mr. Eusebi Bona i Puig. The Hotel has 47 rooms, 3 separate apartments, bar and restaurant with terrace, meeting room, garage, tennis court and free wifi service. We are carrying out a task of updating and renovation of the Hotel under the direction of renowned interior designer Kaisa Blomstedt. Eetu is a design hotel, urban and trendy. We’re aware that cooking is important for our clients to have a great catalan / spanish experience. We are proud to offer a traditional cuisine with local roots, cuisine of Empordà, with international dishes too, giving prominence to seafood. We have a gorgeous terrace and garden where you can enjoy your meals under the shadow of our trees or in the cool summer nights. This small hotel was founded in 1944 as a hostel, and the restaurant was actually placed on the sand, managed by Paquita and Joan, grandparents of the current owner. There were another managers until Judith and Xavier took the management as soon as they finished their tourism studies, it was 1995. There are 5 double rooms where you can have breakfast in the terrace while gazing at the astonishing sights, it will be pure pleasure for your senses. Seeing the dawn from the room will make your day become a bunch of relaxing feelings. The chef of our kitchen since 2003 is Mateu Batista, from Girona and Empordà, with a huge knowledge of traditional cuisine and over 20 years of experience.
